Form flat strips of metal to a perfect “C” shape
after you have engraved your
design. The die cup containes
a soft alloy material that supports
pressure from the die, but does
not distort your engraving work. The
die cup material can be reformed by heating when necessary.
To shape a bracelet, place one end of the material
under the die and press down
on the handle. Continue to work
the material through the former, shaping as you go, until you have
reached the desired “C” shape.
This former will give you an
excellent convexed “C” shape.
The unit comes with two different fixed die sizes and with one adjustable die
cup. With these forming dies, 0.25" up to 1.25" wide bracelets
can be formed. Recommended for soft metals such as copper, silver, and gold alloys
at a thickness of 0.030" to 0.080".

surfaces. It is also designed for
many non-traditional jewelry metals
