Bright Cuts & Citrine Stones
Stone setting is becoming more and more prevalent in the world of engraving. As engravers gain new clients and new skills, the traditional craft of setting stones in metal comes as a natural "next step".
This silver bracelet, hand engraved by Diane Scalese, is a fine example of engraving and stone setting working together. These two elements create a piece of artwork that is timeless and beautiful. Notice in the third picture that Diane has taken another step forward in increasing the value of this piece. Leaving her mark in the middle, the underside of the bracelet displays her bright cut scrolls.
From the bright cuts of Diane's Western style engraving to the twelve perfectly orange citrines that form a cross in the center of the jewelry, the entire bracelet shows the result of bringing together two long-lasting and wonderful skills.
