A “Love Triangle” of Stones
Jewelry is an everyday part of life in most cultures. One aspect of jewelry that people love regardless of cultural differences is a sparkling stone. When over 300 diamonds grace the sides of a ring like the one shown here, it's definitely a sight to behold.
Jura, who teaches his advanced micro-pavé techniques at a few select locations, is well-known and held in high regard for his technical skills in stone setting. This ring, done for a client who collects such stunning jewelry, is named the "Love Triangle." With a large orange garnet in the center, this piece is not for casual occasions.
"These rings are special," says Jura. "You don't wear your wedding dress every day. It's for special events." This 18 karat white gold ring features stone setting on each possible side, creating a luxurious and stunning effect.
Jura uses the GRS GraverMach, NSK E-Max, various carbide tools, burs and drills to complete such a magnificent piece.
